Here at Luke’s Dog School we provide Canine First Aid courses to teach you all the skills you need to ensure your dog has a long, healthy life.
The course is run by Rachel Bean RVN, a Qualified Veterinary Nurse with 26 years working in Veterinary Practice.
Practising techniques on real dogs and dummies, to ensure you know what to do when the time comes.

FAQS
Can I bring my dog? Sorry but this course is for humans only, but there will be a real and fake dog there to practise on.
Do I need to bring lunch? Light snacks and drinks are provided, but it might be worth bringing some lunch and a reusable cup along with you.
About Rachel Bean:
I have been in Veterinary Practice for 26 years (1996 as a Student Nurse), six of those years as a Head Nurse.
I am a Veterinary Nurse, registered with The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and I qualified in 2002.
This length of time in frontline practice both in the UK and abroad gives me the necessary experience in emergency situations and how to deal with trauma, accidents and life threatening conditions.
This professional experience in ‘Real Life’ situations is essential if teaching this subject.
